Our People

Deborah Shearer, BS,EE, serves as Director Engineering and Program Management at SEKO MedTec Solutions and President of MedTec Fulfillment.  Deb is an owner in Shearer Companies and she has been in the Specialty Logistics space for more than 15 years.

Russ Teimouri serves as Managing Director of the SEKO Logistics operations in the Baltimore / Washington D.C. metro areas.  Russ is also integral in several other operational facilities for Shearer Companies.  Russ has been an industry expert for more than 30 years.

Paul Warden serves as Director, MedTec Solutions in Costa Mesa, CA.  Paul is also integral in several other operational facilities for Shearer Companies.  For more than 27 years, Paul has been in the Specialty Logistics industry.

Our Story

Shearer Companies' legacy dates back to 1933, when George Chester Shearer founded Shearer's Exhibitors Delivery Service with his Indian motorcycle and a side car.   In the 1960s, with George's son, Robert, at the helm, the company became the first IATA agent in Pittsburgh.  By the mid-1970s, Robert's son, George, had joined the company and under his leadership, became a global freight forwarder, joining the former LEP International network.  In 1982, Air Cargo Sales (ACS) received its US Customs Brokerage Permit in the port of Pittsburgh.

Demonstrating our reach, we are proud to operate Sutherland Global Logistics, Air Cargo Sales, Shearer Logistics, MedTec Fulfillment Solutions and JFK Logistics Partners.  With ISO 13485 Certification for Medical Devices and Equipment, Shearer Companies is uniquely positioned and qualified to meet the specialty logistics, warehousing, transportation and overall program management needs of any client.

Rob serves as Managing Partner of SEKO MedTec Solutions, the Healthcare Vertical Division of SEKO Worldwide, as well as SEKO BWI/IAD, PIT and ROC. Rob owns Shearer Companies and has been a Specialty Logistics practitioner for more than 22 years.

Dave Vehec serves as Director of Client Solutions for the organization.  With 30 years of working with traditional and eCommerce supply chains David is able to provide extensive, unparalleled insight to deliver optimal outcomes for all facets of a retailers supply chain including distribution, reverse logistics and sustainability.
